Up-and-coming MMA fighter: "I've got over 100 hours in Fortnite"

Last time we checked, there were 45 million people who’d played Fortnite, a number so large it would make the overall Fortnite population the 31st largest country in the world, a little ahead of Argentina and just behind Spain. Those numbers are now about three weeks old, so there’s likely to be even more people playing by now, and with that many people involved, it’s no surprise that Fortnite is making its way further into the public eye.

It might be making waves, but is Fortnite better than PUBG?

Last week, in Germany’s 3. Bundesliga football league match between Karlsruher SC and Chemnitzer FC saw a Fortnite Battle Royale-themed celebration. After Daniel Gordon scored Karlsruher’s decisive second goal in their 2-0 win, he dropped to his knees and started crawling towards his teammate Marc Lorenz. The latter then mimed hitting Gordon with a pickaxe, in a manner instantly recognisable to any Fortnite fan.
