11-11: Memories Retold is a World War I story made with the Wallace and Gromit studio

Bandai Namco have announced a new game in collaboration with French indies DigixArt and - excitingly - Aardman, the British animation studio behind Wallace and Gromit. It's called 11-11: Memories Retold, and it is a narrative adventure set during World War I, told with a unique visual style.

You'll follow the story of two soldiers brought together in unlikely circumstances, and probably explore their memories somehow (though this is a bit of a guess by us, based on comments made by the devs and, well, the title). Further details are thin on the ground, with Bandai Namco content to let some striking art work and the heft of its collaborators do much of the talking. They do say they are aiming to send us on “an exciting, engaging and emotional journey.”
