The GOG Summer Gaming sale starts today, offering discounts of up to 90% on more than 1,300 deals from across the platform’s selection of games. This year, PCGamesN have selected a handful of games that we think are worth picking up in the sale.
The good news is that even if you don’t like our selection, there are plenty of benefits to buying from GOG during the sale. For one thing, you can get Xenonauts absolutely free for 48 hours from the start of the sale. Spend $5, and you’ll get a free copy of Sunless Skies to add to your haul. Push that to $20, and you’ll also get indie darling RiME.
Don’t wade into the sale unprepared - check out our list of the best PC games.
The bad news, of course, is that if you don’t like any of our games, someone here will have spent at least some of their time curating a list of games for no reason whatsoever. It’s an eclectic bunch though, so there should be something you like - we've got everything from massive RPGs to tactical turn-based adventures.

Top of the list is Pillars of Eternity II: Deadfire, but if you don’t have hundreds of hours to pour into a new CRPG, why not pour hundreds of hours into a bog-standard RPG with The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt? Or try out Divinity: Original Sin 2?
