Prepare for some Summer shenanigans in Rocket League - developer Psyonix has revealed an all-new arena named Salty Shores, which will be dropping next Tuesday, May 29.
"As our sunniest map to date," say Psyonix, "Salty Shores should keep the good vibes going year-round as a permanent addition to all-online playlist".
This new update sets the stage for the Beach Blast event, which launches on all platforms on June 11. As part of the update, new music from the Rocket League x Monstercat Vol. 3 EP will join the game’s already vibing soundtrack.
Meanwhile, Competitive Season 8 is readying for kick-off, while Season 7’s rewards will also be winging their way to players with the launch of the event.

In addition to this new content, the Beach Blast update will also see the introduction of a new ‘Impact Crate’, which features the import Battle-Car, Twinzer, as a limited-drop. A host of quality-of-life tweaks are also on the way including the addition of a ‘Report Server’ button, aimed at reducing players’ connection woes.
Rocket League's Salty Shores update will be free for all PC players when it launches on Tuesday, May 29th.
